Starting dance at the age of 3, Sophie has trained in various styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap. She has completed many exams and evaluations, including RAD and ADAPT exams. She has been grateful to perform around Calgary in schools, parades, and elsewhere. Sophie is passionate about building a strong foundation of technique, artistry, and a love of dance in her students. She hopes to inspire her students to love coming to the studio as much as she does. Currently, Sophie is attending the University of Calgary to complete her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, minoring in Energy Engineering and Entrepreneurship. When she is not teaching or studying, Sophie dances or does other activities such as running, rock climbing, hiking, and skiing.
