Angel Fettback began her formal dance training at age six. Tap was the first style of dance in which she was enrolled but her passion for all forms of dance grew quickly.
Angel has trained with various dance professionals including, but not limited too, Curtis Foley, Heather Dotto, Belinda Sobie, Tara-Jean Popowich, Leigh Hilary-Lee, Julio Fuentes, Danielle Gardner, Stacy Hughes, Breanna English, Moira Gale, Sarah Hoffmann and Paul Otterbein. Angel has not only trained with many respected members of the dance community but she has also taken part in numerous local and international productions.
Some of the groups and performances she has performed in include, The Nutcracker: Royal City Youth Ballet, Michael Bublé’s music video “Just Haven’t Met You Yet”, Big Time Rush music video “Music Sounds Better With You”, Jekyll and Hide Musical: CYMC, The Lovers Cabaret, Elevate Dance Crew, Esprit De Corps, GSG Productions, LYFE, Vancouver Awards of Excellence, Brilliant Fundraiser with St. Pauls Hospital, World’s Canadian Tap Team and The Vancouver Olympics.
Angel has completed her RAD Ballet exams, receiving Distinction, which is the highest grade awarded. After training for over 12 years in local studios, Angel wanted to absorb as much about dance and its culture as possible. With this in mind, Angel began teaching in 2009 while still a competitive dancer and quickly became a full time dance instructor at many local dance studios after graduation. In 2010, Angel gained employment at a reputable dance store in Langley called The Dance Box. After working there for a short time, Angel quickly became Manager at the Langley location. In 2013 Angel took the position of Artistic Director at Vitality Dance and had great success in running a studio of her own alongside friends and family. Angel’s dance related experience has also included, Shine Dance Festival, Peak Invitational and Next Level Hip Hop. Angel’s most recent involvement with competitions has been an adjudicator with CORE Dance for 2 seasons.
Angel is currently registered with Acrobatic Arts and Acrobatique to obtain certification for her Junior & Intermediate Levels. Angel strives to cultivate a place where the students are continually challenged and offered unique experiences. Angel will never stop exploring ways to expand her dance education.
