Emma Fleming

Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Combo Classes, Administrator

When asked if she wanted to go see the Nutcracker, 6 year old Emma announced she did not want to watch dance, she just wanted to dance. Years later, after attending a small studio in her neighbourhood and two years in Alberta Ballet School’s Professional Division, Emma found a home at Free House Dance Plus. Starting out, she was the notorious bunhead at the studio, but branched out, finding a newfound love for Jazz and Modern styles and even loved taking Hip Hop classes. Through the many years dancing at Free House, Emma has opened her skill set and found a passion for choreography and teaching. By putting her students at the forefront of her mind, she hopes to create a fun learning environment, where dancers can achieve their long term dance and life goals. When she isn’t at the studio, Emma studies Mathematics at the University of Calgary. She could also be found cuddling her dog, Trixie.
